....has not been easy.

以前總是半途而廢的記帳終於不得不嚴格執行，否則健忘如我永遠記不得我哪天花／刷了多少錢。

又因為現在薪水都是領當天就拿回家給媽媽，身上的錢用完時再跟她要，

 
So why should I write only when I have photos to go with it?
(but I haven't been doing that for the last several posts either XD)
I'm better at writing, not taking pictures (partly due to my laziness), or else I would've chosen photojournalism as my career.


Anyway, a brief recap of my hectic week:

Spent Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the Legislative Yuan mingling with brainless lawmakers and stupid government officials.
Pop quiz #1: who said "Je pense, donc je suis?"
                 #2: who is the philosopher that proposed existentialism?
Our new foreign affairs minister got both questions wrong,
and I wonder if he passed world culture history in high school.
5 railway workers got killed by a night express at midnite Thursday, spent Friday at the railway administration waiting for the director to announce his resignation.
That's reporter life for ya! No wonder there are anger management classes...

Got my new cellphone on Wednesday,
and I wish I knew how to quit it XD
but how can I, when it's a 3-in-one walkman, camera and cellphone?? (with audio-recording for hours and FM radio so I don't miss any breaking news)
it's just way too cool!!!
however, it also means that I can't afford to buy any new clothes or eat anything over NT$200 until the end of this month...


Visited my news writing prof on Thursday,
and made me wish I spent more effort on his assignments.
He really is a great teacher who isn't the least biased
and always knows exactly what he's talking about
(unlike the majority of profs in journalism)

And today, was going to see "Vagina Monologues" with my colleagues,
but had to pass because an old man got killed by a train (AGAIN) this afternoon
when he leaned out the platform to spit on the tracks.....
And whose fault is it? The railway, of course!
In Taiwan, the people are always right!
In Taiwan, you can blame the government when you have debt collectors hunting you down cuz you owe the bank a million dollars!
In Taiwan, you can blame the government when your kid doesn't know how to write Chinese characters anymore cuz he/she starts to use computerized word processing programs when he/she's 5 years old!

我不知道我這兩年內包得了包不了六萬阿

那雙Dr. Martens，是僅存著我大學歲月痕跡的紀念物。
那是爸媽在我大一生日時送給我的，我穿著它在營隊跳開場舞。

因為每隔一陣就會又開始流行（也就是萬年不敗的經典款），
於是雖然每次經過Shoex都會被新款吸引，
還是捨不得這雙陪著我上山下海翻牆踩泥巴了四年多，仍完好如初的靴子。
（畢竟一雙馬汀也不便宜呢 XD）

Happy Valentine's Day~
well, for me it's just another workday... XD

(其實我家離101還滿近的所以我才可以沒事都去那裡晃晃...
今天在誠品旗艦店敗了一千多塊的書後出來才拍的, 其實兩天前就出現了 :P)

我是元宵寶寶，這大概也是為什麼我特別喜歡吃湯圓，而且是一年四季都可以吃，不顧熱量的吃．XD

不過呢，當高中的男朋友在我們的第一個情人節（西洋）帶我坐著現在已經停駛的卡拉卡拉小火車去台北縣平溪後，我便被"放天燈"這玩意兒迷住了．現在回想起來，他可能是第一個帶我到台北和嘉義以外的地方的人．（之後還去過東北角，九份，和草嶺古道...）

而雖然這段感情才維持了八個月，我後來還是會在有空的元宵節，到平溪"看"天燈．不放，有部分原因是因為通常同行人太懶（天燈有點難做，但我很鐵齒的不肯買現成的 XD  到底什麼時候才會有人陪我做天燈呢??），另一個原因則是每年元宵節去平溪的人數越來越多，等到到了現場時往往都擠不進去了．

其實天燈在這幾年裡也只放過那麼一次，但是那種看著一百個天燈同時緩緩升空的感覺，是難以言喻的．方入晚間，仍殘染著淺淺晚霞的天空，在瞬間被柔和的橘光點亮了的美不說，好像現場成千上萬的人所寄託於天燈裡的祈望，真的會直達天上一樣．

今年的生日和元宵節，我比以往都還認真的幫自己和家人祈福．說也奇怪，今年頭一次在生日當天，真的有"長大了"的感覺．可能是因為當天還得上班吧 :P

in fact, it's not like you to be fretting about, 
because for many times already, you have pulled me out of my self-indulging rut

but when and if you need some sort of push or pull to get your gear going again, I would do the same.

"天長地久"，橫越嘉義縣八掌溪的兩座"名勝"吊橋，離平地較近的"地久"有整修過，
而需要爬一段坡，較高的"天長"則沒有，所以走起來也比較刺激．



這次回嘉義過年，我其實是想待久一點的．
我以前都認為，在那種沒有線電視沒網路沒電熱水器（洗澡時要先存一桶熱水和冷水混著洗）
待上一星期，好比人間煉獄，
但上星期的我反而很享受那種可以睡到自然醒（大概11點吧，直接跳過早餐 XD），
毋須煩惱天下事的生活．這是否為工作倦怠症的跡象 :P

看過1984年的歌舞片《渾身是勁》("Footloose"/主演：凱文貝肯)嗎？其實這部片可說是YA類型電影的始祖，因為完全就是為了迎合八零年代熱愛霹靂舞的青少年們所推出的票房電影，沒什麼劇情，但是舞蹈會讓你目不轉睛。


1984年，我才兩歲，不過拜父母所賜，我在小學畢業前就已接觸到早期一些由stage musical改編成電影的好萊塢經典片。父母領進門，修行在個人，熱愛舞蹈與電影的我自然就追蹤到了這部《渾身是勁》。不過說實在的，我比較喜歡《熱舞十七》。而縱使好萊塢電影工業的虛華浮濫令人心寒，但它起碼未來十年還會是所謂大眾文化的一個重要指標。
