☆ 刺刺蝟的進化論 ☆

因為眼睛快睜不開了所以簡單寫個流水帳

今天跑去某NPO面試一個media relations manager的位置
感覺會上的機率頗高  因為HR後來打來說希望我明天去見見他們家CEO
(我就這樣請了一天半的事假+病假... it'd better be worth all my trouble! @@)
但中間發生了一件令人相當難過的事情
就是我的面試過程有3/4的時間都是用英文講的 
(unlike my previous jobs, this is an organization in which English really is the main communication tool)
但當我講到我是在美國長大的時候,
我的其中一名面試官, a totally "local" Taiwanese lady, 打斷我並說: 
"but you just sound like a Taiwanese who can speak English very fluently, 
not someone who grew up in Boston; I thought there is such a thing as a Boston accent."
I wanted to die; 我居然因為我的口音不見了而被質疑我的英語能力!!
但我還是維持著職業笑容並心平氣和的說: "well, I have been back for 13 years, and I haven't found such an environment in Taiwan that would allow me to speak English for an extensive amount of time every day, not even during university." 
我的面試官們點點頭; 我在心中鬆了一口氣 
假如這份工作順利到手的話, 看來我以後真的得"好好講"英文了... 
no more of those "I dunno la" or "歐買嘎"s...

我這半個月以來的醫藥費已經要破我去年一整年的醫藥費總額了
(朋友們應該都還記得我去年可是病痛不斷吧)
其實還滿想告加州的可是我又沒有把我的傷拍照存證
每天看著5,6根針扎在我的腳踝上都快要麻木了
我好想去游泳
